We are the words we choose to use.

We are every action we choose to undertake.
We are everything we choose to create.

I make staffs, blades, leather and jewellery by hand in the Blue Mountains. Every piece is one of a kind, and many are charged by the sun to glow at night.

The workshop

Timber, copper, leather, steel and stone. I make each piece once, so when it sells, it's gone.

From my workshop

Real pieces I've made, as they first appeared on my channels.

How a staff comes to life

The path every one of my staffs follows, from raw timber to the light it gives back.

  1. Choosing the timber

I choose the wood for its grain, its weight in the hand and the shape it already wants to be.

  2. Shaping by hand

Bark off, knots kept, then I carve and sand until it sits right when you walk with it.

  3. Wrapping in copper

I coil copper wire around the head to hold the stone and carry the energy through the wood.

  4. Setting the crystal

A quartz point, or a stone you choose, is seated in the copper cradle and locked in place.

  5. Charging the glow

I set glow powder into the grain. It drinks the sun all day and gives the light back at night.

Have something made

Some pieces are made for one person only. Tell me who it's for and what it's for, and I'll come back to you with ideas, timber and stone choices, and a price.

Time and price depend on the piece. I'll tell you both when I reply.

Sound in the stone

I play crystal singing bowls in the caves, parks and under the big trees of the mountains. The sound settles the body before the mind catches up. Strike the bowl and listen to it fade.

The bowl is tuned near 432 Hz, an octave below the note I tune my spring water to.

Love Springs

Fresh spring water, delivered

I collect fresh water from a secret spring near Wentworth Falls in the Blue Mountains and deliver it the same day, anywhere in Sydney. No fluoride, no chlorine, just water the way the mountain gives it.
